About
We are an association of independent doulas and related care providers who work with families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
We serve the Pioneer Valley (Hampshire, Franklin and Hampden counties) as well as eastern Berkshire County, southern Vermont, southern New Hampshire, and northern Connecticut.

GRDN is a registered nonprofit organization in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and a 501(c)(3) federal nonprofit. All donations to GRDN are tax-deductible, and because we are a purely volunteer-run group, 100% of your donations go toward our doula stipend program!
Meet Our Board Members
Our board uses a structure inspired by sociocracy. Some key principles in sociocracy are decentralized power, consent decision making, clear meeting structure, and roles. Knowing that we all have skill to bring to this work, we share responsibilities horizontally. Our aim is to create a community where all members feel welcomed, nourished, and encouraged in their professional journey.
