Creative Movement for Birth
Sunday, Feb. 7, 1:00-3:30PM
Hampshire College, Amherst, MA

Coincides with final day of Birth Doula Training. Designed by a midwife, this experiential class draws on the body wisdom of yoga and dance, offering pregnant women the opportunity to learn practical techniques for a smoother, easier birth. Women and their partners will learn how to use pillows, birth balls, chairs, birth dance, and the physical support of their partner and/or doula during birth. Creative Movement for Birth is the ideal supplement to childbirth education classes, and is useful no matter what your birth plans may be. This session of Creative Movement for Birth will be enhanced by the participation of new doulas, some of whom are available to attend births on a volunteer basis.

Sliding scale donation to MotherWoman; no one turned away for any reason. Partners and doulas with clients welcome. Preregistration required - call (413) 203-4479. www.BirthDoulaWorkshop.com
