Personal Statement:
As a doula, I help create joyous and empowering birth days. I provide continuous support that allows women and their partners to instinctually navigate the labyrinth of birth. I believe that birth is a profound rite of passage for women, their partners, and their entire families. We remember our birth experiences vividly for our whole lives: the way we give birth truly shapes the way we feel about ourselves as women and as mothers for years to come. Over and over again it has been shown that when birthing women are supported by doulas, we are happier with our experiences in the longterm – regardless of how our births unfold – and are more confident and sensitive mothers to our children.
I would be honored to assist you in the work of growing your family, and am currently available for clients due in May 2012 and beyond.
