Services Provided:
- One on one therapy for mothers who are experiencing emotional complications during the pre, peri and post natal phases. Transition to parenting guidance and support.
Personal Statement:
Your baby has arrived! Is it harder than you expected? If you are having a hard time after the arrival of a baby, don't hesitate to reach out for help. You are not alone in this. Studies show that 10% of all new mothers experience postpartum depression. Studies also show that seeking supports can significantly reduce the severity of the depression.
At the Cutchins Children's clinic, I am now offering professional support for mothers who are feeling sad, alone, overwhelmed or who are having a hard time sleeping after the arrival of a baby.
I am a licenced independent clinical social worker and also used to work as a postpartum doula.
